Computer games have gained so much in popularity, that where as the world is in financial doldrums, the online games business is making profits. Computer games have been around since apple computers were born and Mac games are still a big success. As soon as a user interface and a screen were made play station games hit the markets. They are popularly known as PSP games and are still widely played by young children. Nintendo games became a huge business and today Nintendo games are a well known name in games. With tools to do computer games and animations flash games became popular and people who know flash have made their own games. Playing online games with unknown contenders can keep people locked to their computers for hours. Video games are also immensely popular.
All one needs to play a game either alone or with more than one person is a user interface and a monitor or screen. The personal computer coupled with the internet is the biggest gaming platform in the world. Games central is another games portal from where games can be downloaded, played online or purchased. There are so many games options that some of them are positively addictive. As long as people need some form of entertainment online games, video games, PSP games and all the other games available will continue to flourish.
