Paper Consumption Declining

After rising steadily in the decade of 1980 and â? 90, worldwide paper consumption per capita has plateaued in recent years. In richer countries, consumption fell by 6 percent between 2000 and 2005, from 531 to 502 pounds a person. The data reinforces the view of experts like Mr Kahle said that role is becoming passé.
